Dear President Trump,
In the wake of the 2020 election, over 900 individuals remain unjustly imprisoned, their lives turned upside down by misleading video footage. The surveillance video, showing election workers without proper security measures, sparked accusations of election fraud. Months later the FBI and GBI, cleared the workers of any wrong doing, but it was too late. The damage was irreversible.
These individuals, who believed they were defending democracy, have lost precious years, their livelihoods, and their stability. The emotional and financial devastation is immense, affecting not only them but also their families and communities.
Driven by fear of losing jobs and stability, many were compelled to support their leader, thinking they were protecting democratic values. Their fears were not unfounded, as subsequent policies by the Biden administration led to an influx of illegal immigrants from the Southern and Northern borders, impacting their lifestyle and job security. The surveillance video and lack of security measures led to widespread unrest and wrongful convictions.
They urgently need justice and compensation. A comprehensive review of these cases is essential to ensure all evidence, including the surveillance video and security lapses, is thoroughly examined. Those 1200 protesters, 900 wrongfully imprisoned and 300 charged, must be compensated for their lost income, disrupted lives, and emotional suffering.
Skilled legal representation is crucial. A competent lawyer who can effectively communicate the context of the video evidence and security lapses can make a significant difference. The State of Georgia must be held accountable for its negligence.
These individuals deserve fair resolutions and acknowledgment of their suffering. Addressing these injustices should be a top priority, as they are ordinary citizens who believed they were fighting for democracy. Compensation can help them rebuild their lives, support their families, and address the long-term impacts of the wrongful imprisonment of 900 citizens and prosecution of a further 300 Americans. It is time for the State of Georgia to acknowledge its failures and compensate these wrongfully charged and convicted defenders of democracy.
Sincerely,
Aleitheia
